Who we are?
El tigany Trading Group was established in the 1960s by Haj Ahmed Tijani and his sons, Mohamed and Ahmed.
The group began its commercial journey in the markets with a diverse range of construction and architectural tools, as well as agricultural tools.
Quickly, the group expanded, and the name Tijani spread rapidly in the markets. The activities and fields of the group expanded to meet the needs of its customers and open new markets. From the 1970s to the 1990s, the group’s leadership added a list of demanded and newly released products in the markets, including:
1- Threads of various types (silk, CF, PVC reinforced, mixed)
2- Ropes of various types (sisal, plastic, high-strength polypropylene)
3- Woven tape (white silk – mixed colors).
4- Plastic tarpaulins (greenhouses and nurseries – weaving and lining).
The group’s leadership did not forget its original field and included a variety of advanced construction tools, architectural tools, and agricultural service tools to meet the needs of its customers. These products include:
1- Kenyan and Brazilian sisal.
2- Agricultural carts and their accessories.
3- Axes of various types.
4- Hoes of various types.
5- Chains and planks.
Finally, internal covers for tuk-tuks, motorcycles, and carts.
The group continues to strive for development and to add products that serve its customers with the highest possible quality and competitive prices.

Starting from the basics: The group began its journey with the trade of household and agricultural tools, and soon expanded to include building materials and fabrics.

In the 1980s, the second generation took over the leadership of the group, witnessing a period of rapid growth and expansion in local and regional markets.
Transition to manufacturing
Believing in the importance of quality and self-reliance, the group established modern factories to produce a variety of products, including woven tape, greenhouses, threads, and rubber.
Regional leadership
Today, the Tijani Group is considered a leader in the manufacturing and trade of woven tape and threads in the Middle East, and it also owns a leading factory for inner tubes for motorcycles and tuk-tuks in Africa.
