a long-standing textile manufacturing journey that began decades ago in Egypt. The company’s roots trace back to Linah Egypt, which was established in 1992 as a specialized yarn manufacturing facility. At the time, Linah Egypt played a pioneering role in the local textile industry, contributing to the development of yarn production and supplying the market with reliable, industry-grade products.
Over the years, Linah Egypt built
Strong technical expertise, operational discipline, and deep knowledge of textile manufacturing processes. This foundation allowed the factory to grow steadily, adapt to changing market needs, and maintain consistent production quality. The experience gained during this period formed the backbone of what would later become EGYTEX.
Today, EGYTEX operates as a key textile manufacturing arm under the umbrella of El Tigany Group
In 2020, in response to expanding market demand and the need for advanced manufacturing capabilities, Linah Egypt underwent a strategic transformation and rebranding, officially becoming EGYTEX. This transformation was not merely a change of name, but a comprehensive evolution that included upgrading production lines, adopting modern international technologies, and expanding the factory’s manufacturing scope.
As part of this transformation, EGYTEX integrated advanced machinery supplied by S.M.L (Germany), enabling higher efficiency, improved precision, and enhanced product consistency. These upgrades positioned the factory to operate according to modern industrial standards while maintaining the craftsmanship and expertise developed over decades.
Today, EGYTEX operates as a key textile manufacturing arm under the umbrella of El Tigany Group, a diversified Egyptian industrial group with operations spanning multiple manufacturing sectors.
